When I log in, I can only access the assessment section, why?
- Your organisation has invested in the training resource to assist with your continued development. To realise the benefits of purchasing the training, performance reports are available to your line managers and will record your first attempt and then after you have studied the training, your next attempt. This method of implementation will hopefully result in you passing your assessment(s) and understanding the 18 Week rules, ultimately the aim is to provide your patients with a gold standard experience.
My trust / organisation uses local RTT Status Codes instead of National, can the training be tailored to suit our needs?
- Yes. We can tailor our eLearning packages to reflect the RTT Status Codes that you use
- We can incorporate your Patient Access Policy, Clinic Outcome Forms and local rules into a bespoke training resource for your organisation
- If this is of interest to you, please complete the ‘Contact Us’ form by clicking on the green ‘ENQUIRE’ button and we will be in touch

I think relevant information is missing from the training resource, can I make suggestions?
- We welcome suggestions for change or improvement to our training resources, ultimately the resources are there to help you with your understanding of the rules, all suggestions are greatly received as they help us to continuously improve our resources.
- You can either send us your suggestions via the ‘Contact Us’ button, or, add them to the feedback form which appears at the end of an assessment.
Why are my assessment questions different to my colleagues?
- There is a library of over 400 questions that are randomly selected for each assessment attempt.
Is there any way of checking how I did on my assessment?
Yes. If you click on ‘My Assessment History’, you will be presented with the following:
- Every assessment that has been recorded against your account
- The questions you were asked
- The answer that you selected
- A hyperlink which will redirect you to the module within the training that will contain the answer to the question.
I think that the answer I gave in my assessment was correct, could your website be wrong?
- Please visit the ‘My Assessment History’ section of your account. Here, you can review your assessment, view the question you were asked, the answer that you gave (not the correct answer) and the module to visit, to learn the correct answer. If you still have a query regarding the answer that you gave, please raise your query with us by completing the ‘Contact Us’ form. We welcome all comments as it helps us to improve our service.
Once I have passed the assessment that is relevant to my job role, can I take the other assessments that are available?
- You have access to the website for the length of the contract, please feel free to take as many assessments as you wish and learn the other sections. Take advantage of this training resource whilst you have access to it.
How long does each section take to read and study?
- If you were to sit in a quiet room with no distractions, you could probably read through the training content as per the table below. However, it is not advisable to try to complete the training in one sitting as research shows that you probably won’t retain the information in this way. As a rule of thumb the length of time for each section is:
- Introduction to Referral to Treatment (RTT) – 60 minutes
- Referral to Treatment – 120 minutes
- Clinic Outcome Form – 75 minutes
- Fertility – 45 minutes
- Dental – 45 minutes
What if I need to refresh my memory of the content?
The training resource is yours for the length of the subscription with your organisation. The modules have been written in a way that mirror’s a patient’s pathway. If you need to refresh your memory, click on the module that contains the relevant information.
